NCAA Division I Football Championship to Move to Frisco, Texas

The NCAA announced on Friday that the NCAA Division I Football Championship game will move to Frisco, Texas beginning with the 2010 season.

The event will be hosted by the Southland Conference and the championship game will be played at Pizza Hut Park on Jan. 7, 2011.

For the previous 13 years the event was held in Chattanooga, Tenn. at Finley Stadium/Davenport Field.

Next year also marks the first with an expanded bracket, as 20 teams will be in the field (up from 16 a year ago).

What are your thoughts about the event moving to Texas?
