Putting the Student in Student-Athlete

Although most of the time athletics takes center stage, there would not be college athletics with student-athletes.

Annually U.S. News & World Report puts out a list of the Best Colleges in the United States, breaking them down in several categories.

Most OVC schools fall in the Regional Universities Rankings. According to U.S. News & World Report "Regional Universities offer a full range of undergrad programs and some master's programs but few doctoral programs." The rankings are split into 4 regions: North, South, Midwest, and West.

Including Belmont (who will join the OVC next season) here is where the OVC schools ranked (10 schools fell into the South category and 2 are in the Midwest ranking).
